DECEMBER 12, 2023, FIFTIETH MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Nelson, Ung, Bittinger II, Radig, and Taylor. Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Assistant, Dennis Butler, Finance and Budget Director, Joshua Widman, Assistant County Attorney, and Patrick Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board.
The regular meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and a Moment of Silence.

Motion by Taylor second by Nelson to approve the contract for gravel production at the Little Sioux Gravel Pit with Bedrock for $1,980,000.00. Carried 5-0. Copy filed.
Motion by Taylor second by Nelson to approve the contract for gravel production at the Little Sioux Gravel Pit with Bedrock for $600,000.00. Carried 5-0. Copy filed.
Matthew Ung, Board Chair, corrected the record on misapplication of parliamentary procedure and false accusations made by a citizen against the Chair during the “Approval of the Agenda” item on the December 5 meeting. Copy filed.

Kevin Nelson, Mayor of Salix, addressed the Board with concerns about a proposed drainage district in the City of Salix.
