APRIL 11, 2017, FIFTEENTH MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Ung, De Witt, Radig, Taylor, and Pottebaum. Staff members present were Dennis Butler, Budget/Tax Analyst, Karen James, Board Administrative Assistant, Ed Gilliland, Human Resources Director, Abigail Sills, Assistant County Attorney and Michelle Skaff, Deputy Auditor/Clerk to the Board.
The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and a Moment of Silence.
Major Stallman expressed concerns that office space is needed for the new Sioux Rivers Jail personnel and will be requesting to use the old Buildings Services Offices in the Courthouse basement.
Motion by Ung second by Radig to approve the Agenda for April 11, 2017. Carried 5-0. Copy filed.

To approve the claims totaling $398,109.31. Copy filed.
To approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign a Resolution setting the public hearing date and sale date of parcel #623670, 308 State St., Sioux City.

2. That said Board proposes to sell the said parcel of real estate at a public auction to be held on the 25th Day of April, 2017, immediately following the closing of the public hearing.

A public hearing was held at 4:45 p.m. for tower lease with Motorola Solutions, Inc. within the West Tower site.
Motion by Taylor second by Radig to close the public hearing. Carried 5-0.
Motion by Taylor second by Ung to approve a tower lease with Motorola Solutions, Inc. for an initial term of thirteen (13) years between Woodbury County, Starcomm, the City of Sioux City, and Motorola Solutions, Inc. for Starcomm West Tower at 3430 West 23rd St. Carried 5-0. Copy filed.
Motion by Radig second by Ung to approve Courtroom #209 as post-bid alternate to the Courtroom #207 project. Carried 5-0.
Motion by Radig second by Ung to approve Courtroom #209 contract with Bogenrief Studios for $55,000 and The Baker Group for $134,170 from CIP funding. Carried 5-0.
