SEPTEMBER 13, 2013-SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Board of Supervisors met on Friday, September 13, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Smith, and Monson; Tripp was absent. Staff members present were Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board and Steve Hofmeyer, Deputy Commissioner of Elections.
The meeting was called to order to canvass the Regular School Board Election held in Woodbury County on September 10, 2013.
Steve Hofmeyer, Deputy Commissioner of Elections, announced there was 25(twenty-five) after-election ballots which 8(eight) were accepted and added to the tally. Official Canvass results were as follows:
Lawton-Bronson School Board Director District 3 – 1 vacancy
Steve Olson Received one hundred sixty-one (161) votes
Scattering Seven (7) votes
TOTAL One hundred sixty-eight (168) votes
We therefore declare Steve Olson duly elected for the office of Lawton-Bronson School Board Director District 3 for the term of 4 years.
Lawton-Bronson School Board Director District 5 – 1 vacancy
Machele Dunning Received one hundred forty-nine (149) votes
Scattering Ten (10) votes
TOTAL One hundred fifty-nine (159) votes
We therefore declare Machele Dunning duly elected for the office of Lawton-Bronson School Board Director District 5 for the term of 4 years.

Jesse A. Pedersen Received one hundred fifty-eight (158) votes

TOTAL One hundred sixty-six (166) votes
We therefore declare Jesse A. Pedersen duly elected for the office of Lawton-Bronson School Board Director District 4 for the term of 2 years.

We therefore declare: Brad Koele duly, Taylor Lambert, and Steve Steffen duly elected for the office of Woodbury Central School Board Director for the term of 4 years.
Motion by Boykin second Monson by to approve and accept the Official Canvass results. Carried 4-0. Copy filed.
The Board adjourned the meeting.
