JUNE 14, 2013 — SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, June 14, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center.  Board members present were Clausen, Boykin, Monson, Smith, Tripp.  Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Dennis Butler, Finance/Operations Controller and Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board.

The meeting was called to order.

The Board held a discussion with Iowa State University Extension about the possibility of creating a shared position that dealt with economic development in Woodbury County.

Woodbury County Sheriff Dave Drew discussed the performance of duties of the Sheriff Office with the Board of Supervisors.

There was a discussion of the development of a policy dealing with the public distribution of media of Board Meetings.

The Board adjourned the regular meeting until June 18, 2013.
