NOVEMBER 10, 2011—SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board canvassed the City of Bronson Regular City Election of November 8, 2011. Board members present were Smith, Monson, Clausen, and Boykin; Tripp was absent.  Staff members present were Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board and Steve Hofmeyer, Deputy Commissioner of Elections.
Steve Hoffmeyer, Deputy Commissioner of Elections, announced there were no provisional or after-election absentee ballots to be added to the Talley.  The votes were as follows:

City of Bronson Mayor – 1 vacancy (2 year term)

Dave Amick   Received forty-one (41) votes
Candidate Total                 Forty-one (41) votes
Scattering  Received one (1) vote
Total   Forty-two (42) votes

We therefore declare Dave Amick duly elected for the office of City of Bronson Mayor for the term of 2 years.


City of Bronson Council Member – 2 vacancies (4 year terms)

Lisa Crilly                   Received seventeen (17) votes
Tim Imel                  Received ten (10) votes
David Junge                  Received twenty-nine (29) votes
Michael Ott  Received twenty-five (25) votes
Candidate Total                 Eighty-one (81) votes
Scattering  Received one (1) vote
Total   Eighty-two (82) votes

We therefore declare David Junge and Michael Ott duly elected for the office of City of Bronson Council Members for the term of 4 years.

Motion by Smith second by Boykin to approve and accept the Official Canvass results.  Carried 4-0.  Copy filed.
      
The Board adjourned the meeting.
