MARCH 22, 2011 — ELEVENTH MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.  Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Monson, Smith, and Tripp. Staff members present were:  Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Joshua Widman, Assistant County Attorney, and Jean Jessen, Deputy Auditor.

The Claims were approved as presented.  Copy filed.

The meeting was called to order.
 
Motion by Boykin second by Tripp to approve the minutes of the March 15, 2011 Board meeting.  Carried 5-0.  Copy  filed.

The Board approved the reclassification of Gloria Mollet, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Dept., $46,663/year, 4.8%=$2,127, effective 03-24-2011.    Per Wage Matrix 3 yr Salary Increase.   Copy filed.

The Board approved the reclassification of Peri Nelson, Case Manager, Social Services Dept., $44,006/year, 8.6%=$3,486,  effective 03-28-2011.    Per Wage Matrix 6 yr Salary Increase.   Copy filed.
 
The Board approved the Appointment of Susan Ahlquist, Motor Vehicle Clerk II, Treasurer Dept., $13.42/hour, effective 03-28-2011.    Job Vacancy Posted: 02-08-11.  Entry Level Salary:  $13.42/hour.   Copy filed.
 
Motion by Boykin second by Smith to approve Total Credit Card Limit, per recommendation of County Treasurer,  Michael Clayton. Carried 5-0.

Motion by Boykin second by Clausen to approve a 12-month, Class A liquor license, with Sunday sales privileges permit renewal for White Horse Patrol Club, 1689 Old Hwy 141, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, effective 04/05/2011 through 04/04/2012.  Carried 5-0.  Copy filed.

The Chairman asked if there were any individuals or groups wishing to make a presentation of items not on the agenda, or Supervisors concerns.

The Board adjourned the regular meeting until March 29, 2011.
