NOVEMBER  29, 2010 — SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supervisors met on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Monson, Smith, and Walish. Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Dennis Butler, County Auditor’s Office
Meeting was called to order.
A presentation was giving by Dennis Butler on department structure.  
Fran Sadden presented the goals and objectives for the Siouxland District Health Department:

1. Will provide quality accessible public health services to residents.
2. Will evaluate policies, procedures and outcome measurements.
3. Will develop and implement a community and consumer education program.
4. Will have a trained and skilled public health workforce.
5. Will foster open communication among employees.
Will plan for adequate funding to provide public health services.

A presentation was giving by Dennis Butler on Social Services department structure.

Patty Erickson-Puttmann presented her goals and objectives for the Social Services Department.

Develop array of services availability to provide MR and MI populations opportunities for community living.
