ctober 11, 2010 — SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Monson, Smith, and Walish.  Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Dennis Butler, Budget/Tax Analyst. 

Gary Brown representing Woodbury County Disaster Services was also present.

Meeting was called to order.

Social Services Director Patty Ericson-Puttmann was unable to attend.

A presentation was given by Dennis Butler on the Duties of Disaster Services.

The Board members and Mr. Brown discussed the department’s long term goals.

Mr. Brown excused himself and County Engineer Mark Nahra joined the meeting.

A presentation was given by Dennis Butler on the duties of the secondary roads department.

The Board members discussed with Mr. Nahra the long term goals of the secondary roads department and the progress of the various secondary roads projects in Woodbury County.
