NOVEMBER 24, 2008SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Board members present were Batcheller, Clausen, Monson, and Walish; Boykin was absent. Staff members present were John Mayne, Victoria L. Ritz, Deputy Commissioner of Elections, and Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board. Other persons present were John Mayne, Attorney and appointed member of the recount board.

Board of Supervisors meeting was called to order.

The Board canvassed the recount for State Representative District 1 in the General Election held in Woodbury County on November 4, 2008.

Motion by Monson second by Clausen to receive the report of the recount. Carried 4-0.

Received six thousand one hundred fifty-two (6152) votes

JEREMY TAYLOR
Received six thousand ninety-two (6092) votes

Thirteen (13) votes

TOTAL
Twelve thousand two hundred fifty-seven (12257) votes

Motion by Monson second by Batcheller to approve amending the canvass of November 12, 2008 for Rock Township. Carried 4-0.
