The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors is comprised of five elected officials, with an administrative staff consisting of a Finance/Operation Controller, a Board Administrative Coordinator, and an Executive Secretary/Public Bidder. Meetings are every Tuesday at 4:30 pm, except on scheduled and major holidays.

About Matthew Ung
Matthew A. Ung, a lifetime resident of Woodbury County, was elected to the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors November 4, 2014 and was sworn in November 10, 2014. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Creighton University along with a Master of Theology degree, and has over 12 years' experience in healthcare administration, providing business management to multiple practices with several million dollars in annual revenue. He has been married to his wife Nheylin--a naturalized U.S. citizen from Honduras--for over 10 years, and together they have two young daughters, Charlotte and Madeline.
His focuses are to champion tax relief, prioritize essential functions of government like infrastructure, and contribute to long-term economic planning.

About Daniel Bittinger II
Daniel A. Bittinger II originally from Wadsworth, Ohio moved with his family to Sioux City in 2014.
He is the lead pastor at Crosspointe Church which is located on the west side of Sioux City. Daniel holds a B.S. in Mass Communications, with a focus in video broadcast, from Southeastern University. He has been an ordained minister with The Assemblies of God Fellowship since 2012.
He has been married to his wife Jinger for over 20 years. Together, they have 3 wonderful teenagers.
His focuses are budget accountability, promoting tax relief, economic development, striving to keep Woodbury County within its constitutional authority, and supporting the rule of law.

About Mark Nelson
Mark is a 5th generation farmer who grew up east of Moville, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University and has a degree in Agricultural Studies. Mark was sworn in as Supervisor of District 3 on January 23, 2023. Mark farms full time on a diversified grain and livestock farm outside of Correctionville. He also has many years of experience owning and running a retail and transportation business. He has been married to his wife Melissa for 8 years and they have 2 boys, Roy and Charlie.
His focus is on fiscal responsibility, economic development to entice new residents and keep current ones here, conservation, and long-term planning.

About Keith Radig
Keith Radig first moved from Algona, IA to Sioux City in 1997 to attend Morningside College. In 2001, bought his first home in the Northwest corner of Woodbury County. Keith has worked as a furniture salesman at Hom Furniture since 2005. Keith was also married to his wife, Meredith in 2005. Together they live with their 4 kids Jaden, William, Emma and Jonathan.
Keith was elected to the City Council of Sioux City in November 2009, and on January 3, 2017 resigned to take the oath as County Supervisor. He has made a commitment to focus on Economic Development and strategic planning while keeping a watchful eye on the budget and running the County efficently.

About Jeremy Taylor
Jeremy Taylor grew up in Sioux City and is a lifelong Woodbury County resident. Jeremy has worked as an Iowa Statehouse legislator and as an English teacher. He is now the Energy & Environmental Specialist for the Sioux City Schools dedicated to maximizing operational efficiencies. In the Iowa Army National Guard, Jeremy enlisted as an intelligence analyst. He is currently a Chaplain and a Major assigned to the 734th Regional Support Group of the Iowa Army National Guard headquartered at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in English (Dowling College, NY) and two advanced degrees, an M.A. in English (USD) and an M.Div from Liberty University in Virginia. Jeremy met his wife Kim while teaching at a university in Vietnam and they count as blessings four girls and two boys. They own the Green Tea Salon and as small business owners know what it takes to create jobs for our area.
Jeremy is serving his third term on the Board of Supervisors and was first elected in November 2014. His focus is on growing economic development, high-quality services, long-term facility planning, taxpayer saving efficiencies, and responsive customer service.
