Recorder
Woodbury County’s Recorder’s Office is one of two combined Auditor and Recorder Offices in the State of Iowa. This occurred in Woodbury County by popular vote in 1994. Effective January 1, 1995, the Woodbury County Auditor became known as the Auditor and Recorder and is the elected official over both offices.
We are an office filled with friendly, capable, service-oriented staff ready to serve you. We house three "mini" departments – Vital Records, Land & Records Management, and Real Estate – within our office walls, which provide a wide range of services.
