Comparable Sales

The best way to check for comparability of the assessment of your property is to look for sales of properties like yours. To view sales files of each neighborhood in Sioux City, please email our office at siouxcityassessor@sioux-city.org, please be sure to include your property address.

If you are unsure what neighborhood you are in, you can pull your parcel up in Beacon and look at the map. In the legend on the left, confirm the Sioux City Residential Neighborhoods layer is selected. It will color and label all of our neighborhoods for Residential properties. You will likely have to zoom in to see colors and labels.

If you would like to look at the sales in your area, pull up your parcel, click on map.  Go to the legend on the left hand side of the map and click on Residential Sales & Sioux City Residential Sales.
